Oh no, Sugar’s playing the angst card in attack mode.
Aoba’s unsure if he should ask Mink about them. It took so long to ask about his past, he doesn’t want to bring up the bad memories from Toue’s reign. But when he see’s Mink’s somber face, his fingers rubbing along his wrists where the scars are raised, he intends to do something about it.
So Aoba takes what crafting Mink’s taught him to good use and decides to make him a big bracelet, something to cover it. Because he can’t get rid of it but he can place the present over the past. Mink understands the sentiment and kisses his forehead, telling Aoba it’s nothing really hard to explain, just a hard visual reminder.
Aoba always makes sure he suckles on the one’s along his neck, just as Mink does to his own body. They don’t disappear but it helps as much as the jewelry. But it does have it’s drawbacks…
Cause if Aoba gives them, Mink has a better reason to hide those scars.
